No Pass No Drive

The State of Kentucky's Driver's School Compliance Verification (No Pass No Drive) form is completed through the Highlands High School Administrative Offices. Please visit our Assistant Principal Office to obtain a form or download the form here.

The form must be turned in to the Assistant Principal Office for approval by administration.

  • Please Read ALL of the Information Below!

    Eligibility as Determined by the State of Kentucky KRS 159.051

  •  (This is a state requirement, not an HHS requirement):

    • Students must be 16 years old before completing the form. If turning 16, we will date the form for your 16th birthday.  

    • The student must have less than 9 unexcused absences and have passed 4 of 6 courses in the preceding semester.

      To Submit a Request:

      • The form is available in either of the administrative offices. 

      • Complete the form entirely and leave it in the office to be signed and dated by an administrator.

      • Administrators will check eligibility and approve or deny the request.

      • No same day requests. Please allow 24 hours to process on school days.

      • Forms can not be processed on weekends or when school is closed. 

      • Please double check the information for accuracy.

      • The Driver's form expires in 60 days. 

      • If a student is denied due to eligibility, then they may reapply the next semester. 

HHS Summer hours for picking up the form will be Monday - Thursday 9am - 1pm through June 30th.

Please make requests for pick up several days before your scheduled permit test.

  •  When a sixteen or seventeen-year-old student, who has obtained a permit or license, drops out of school or is declared to be academically deficient, the schools will report electronically to the Division of Driver Licensing. The Division of Driver Licensing will suspend the student’s privilege to drive and notify the driver of the suspension.
