The long-anticipated day has finally arrived!

Our District is very pleased to invite our community to enjoy the first-ever athletic events held at the completely re-built Tower Park Athletic Complex in Fort Thomas as the Highlands girls soccer teams host Notre Dame Academy for a tripleheader on Saturday, September 13th. The matches are scheduled to begin at 9am (Freshman), 11am (JV) and 1pm (Varsity). It’s a milestone day for our community and the exciting next step in a progression that
began in early July when our athletic programs began practicing inside the complex.

While the state-of-the-art venue is taking shape nicely and we can’t wait for our community to see the facility, please know that the festivities on September 13th represent a limited opening. We will be hosting events at Tower Park for the remainder of the season, but the full complex will not be completely open to the public and we recognize that a limited opening may present some challenges for our fans and student-athletes.

Please consider the information below:

This is a limited opening. When Highlands athletic events are not occurring, the facility is closed to all community members. The field, parking, and seating are ready to allow us to give our current student-athletes the opportunity to play in the new facility.

The Tower Park Athletic Complex remains closed to the public outside of scheduled Highlands Athletics events. The new buildings, restrooms, press box, concessions, and surrounding areas remain under construction. Even though the complex is open for games and Highlands High School athletic teams, the facility returns to an active construction zone immediately after each event. This includes the track and parking lot.

All spectators, teams, and staff must vacate the property promptly after games.

Temporary restrooms will be available. There will not be running water available during events.

Limited concessions will be sold at each game.

All patrons will enter on the left side of the new buildings. Tickets will be sold at that entrance. It will also serve as the pass gate for those with Bluebird passes and other approved passes. Tickets may be purchased online as well at https://public.eventlink.com/tickets?t=132228.

We are grateful to the entire Fort Thomas community for your patience and support as we take the next step to open a complex that will provide new opportunities for generations of Bluebirds. This is truly a project that only came to fruition through the support of the Board of Education, city leaders,
private partners, state funding, and our families. We are also thankful for our partnership with NKU for accommodating us during this construction process and appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we transition back into Tower Park. While the facility is not ready for a Grand Opening, we believe that our student-athletes deserve the opportunity to close out the 2025 soccer season on the new home pitch for the Bluebirds!

Good morning!

It's picture day at Johnson Elementary, and our class pets Rex, Kenny, Chrisss and Cookie took their places in front of the green screen along with our students, staff, teachers and leadership.

It's a great day to be a Jaguar!

Chrisss is not a typo, as Chrisss is Jill Booth's very friendly class snake.

Have a great Tuesday!

This is Fort Thomas.

To our Highlands High School Families,

The HHS Open House set for Tuesday, August 19th will proceed as originally scheduled at 6:00pm (Earlybird will begin at 5:45pm). At the end of the school day on August 19th, students were notified that the Open House was canceled because of maintenance concerns. But those concerns have since been corrected, and we can't wait to see our parents and guardians in our classrooms and hallways! Our apologies for any confusion and we look forward to a great event. See you soon.

Our District would like to welcome our 9th graders and their families to Highlands!

We enjoyed a great orientation session at Nest Fest, with student mentors leading the way on campus tours and teaching our youngest high school students all about the cheers in the O Zone! Let's make sure it's nice and loud, with plenty of blue and white, all year long.

Thank you to our counseling department at Highlands for organizing such a great day for our students. We can't wait to see everyone for the first day on August 13th!
